my tuesday night S-Boat racing has been thwarted by my kickboxing class that i've been faithfully attending for about a year now... or has my kickboxing been thwarted by S-Boat racing?  either way, i pay for the gym membership, and find jumping up and down and throwing punches at nobody to some fresh beats to be extraordinarily satisfying.  as satisfying as winning sailboat races.  this is a paradox.

i used to attend thursday nights as well, but in april the Red Rooster Ramble series began up in Warren with the Road Runners so that has taken higher priority.

i arrived at the gym somewhat early today and instinctively sortie up the gauntlet for an open treadmill.  got on top, started my running playlist on my ipod and said "wait a minute.  i do this too much."  i got off the treadmill and went over to the elliptical.  actually, i don't run too much.  but i only had about 40 minutes to do something before class started, and for whatever reason, i was not about to run.  most days, i crave my daily trot- to stretch my legs, open them up, and just sort of fly...  cruise around town.  see what's good...  but not today.  dreaded the thought of the mill... tuesdays aren't even my day off.  mondays are.  so there goes to show that there is in fact rest for the wicked.... or that crazy people get bored easily.  one of those...
