rhesus AWESOME.

i can almost certainly hear my mom's voice still asking me why i have to be so negative all of the time.   turns out, it's cause i am.  and it's all her fault.

i found out last mmm... march 12th to be exact that i am rhesus negative blood type.  which meant nothing to me at the time... aside from to not attempt to mate with a lowly rhesus positive individual because their DNA is shit and the child will turn out to be an ugly unwanted specimen with inadequate genetics.  (i jest.)  In other words, on march twelve, 2011, i should have walked out the front door in search of a likeblooded partner...  in my case, O--.  (i do not jest.)

over dinner, i got into a discussion with a girlfriend about which foods best suit my blood type- she happens to be reading a book on this.  i mentioned that i was rhesus negative and that only somewhere between 7% and 15% of the human population have this.  her eyes lit up and immediately burst into smartphone google mode.  surprisingly, little scientific information is truly offered, and a great deal of literature about Rhesus Negative is a lot of sensationalized cult shit.  aliens, gods, goddesses, adam, eve, you name it.  (Where is Brad Meltzer when we need him?)  I'm totally dismayed by the lack of legitimate scientific research which i normally require to answer my queries.  instead, i am met with a whole lot of crazy ass theories of alien abduction... most science fiction makes my skin crawl, and i couldn't be more disinterested.   i find myself above it.   i am not a nerd, and critical thinking is for the weak minded.  opinionated much?

the facts(?):
The RH factor is a protein found in the human blood that is directly linked to the Rhesus Monkey.
Most people, about 85%, have RH-positive blood. That could support the idea that humans evolved or were derived from Primates. 15 % of humans have RH-negative blood.  These people have a blood type that did not derive or evolve from primates.

okay, that's all the rational information i could gather on this.  The rest is a list of traits, and some lose data i've recovered in regards to myself and my fellow negatives out there.

cannot be cloned  (yay?)
restless                              (no comment)
higher than average IQ  (i don't find this difficult to understand)
lower Body temperature       (no comment)
hightened intuition
large forehead   (actually, i have a comparatively small forehead.  and i'm OK with that)
often have reddish hair    (i'm the only natural auburn in my family)
esp capability or psychic dreams
piercing or large eyes         (i've been told they're big?)
high arches in feet              (yes)
low blood pressure               (yes)
subject to shocks or scares
feeling like an outsider
strange instances or coincidences surrounding person with RH negative that cannot be explained
difficult time conforming due to personal thoughts that conflict with others'
a sense of not being from this time

i'd like to know where the hell they (who?) did these studies, and what they're based on.   it's kind of like the zodiac.  i do not enjoy being told who i am or that i fall into a specific category of people with similar traits.  that is unappealing to me.  moreover, it causes me to second guess my heritage- as i cannot be who i've always thought i was.  genetic code is a difficult thing to dispute.  any ideas??  perhaps i've not been joking this whole time i've claimed to be a descendant of the Roman Gods & Goddesses- any ideas?
