late night frolic under the stars- a swift ten. maybe even too swift.
i want to wring peoples' necks when i watch them jog by during the day- under the hot sun. makes absolutely no sense at all. you can't get a good workout in under those circumstances. you cannot train fast and you cannot go long. so what's the point? run slow and short for the sake of running and hope that you do not pass out? terrible plan.
after sailing i nap for a few hours, and as the sun sets i put on my running gear and hit the road. it's still very much a solo activity. i'm in full on marathon training program now. only 11 weeks left. ::yawn:: it's getting harder with my work schedule but keeping priorities right. no partying at all, no more late nights, no more alcohol. it's easy though, given the circumstances. well behaved as my main source of misbehavior is temporarily not at my disposal. keeps us all honest, and my training on track. :-)
